Glider Day Competition
Powered Gliders :-
Powered Gliders MUST use throttle cut function.
Climb to a pre-determined height then cut motor.
Time will start, fly for as long as possible.
Time will stop when model lands or if throttle is used.
Aero-Tow :-
Climb to a pre-determined height then release tow-line.
Time will start, fly for as long as possible.
Time will stop when model lands.
Winch or Bungee Launch :-
Time will start when winch or bungee line is released.
Fly for as long as possible.
Time will stop when model lands.
Classes :-
Up to 2.3mtr Wingspan & Unlimited
Height will be determined on day of competition.
All flights will be for a maximum of 10mins.
Maximum number of 3 Flights per Class, best time counts for final position.
The winner is the one with the longest flight.
In the event of a tie in each class the winner will be decided with a fly-off :- Longest flight wins.
Pilots may enter multiple models in either class.
